The Aussie Interconnect servers are located at the very best of facilities which utilises our unique triple back up system.

Quick Facts:

Aussie NetworkIndividually locking cabinets all feature standard 19-inch rails, fully louvered doors, louvered tops, a high powered fan, and a bottom ventilation duct. This makes sure our servers run in an optimal environment without overheating.

Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs) not only provide clean conditioned power, but also power your equipment during the time between an unlikely power outage and when the emergency generator becomes active. As you can see, we have planned for everything and understand how important uptime is to you by protecting you against power outages and blackouts.

Security :

Access to our data centres is restricted by two-factor authentication including Biometric hand scanners. Aussie Interconnect data centres are physically isolated from everyone but level three technicians. Public access is strictly forbidden. All entrances and common areas are monitored 24x7 via closed-circuit cameras.

Precision Environment :

Our data centres' HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) systems are N+1 redundant to ensure that - even in the event of an entire HVAC system failure - there is a duplicate system on standby to take over. All air is circulated and filtered every 90 seconds to remove dust and contaminants. An advanced fire-suppression system is in place to prevent any fire from spreading - in the unlikely event that one could start. All cables to servers and routing equipment are securely tied down and cable racks suspended from the ceiling provide dual routes for all cables.

Uninterruptible Power Supply with Generator Backup :

Aussie NetworkPower systems in Aussie Interconnect data centres are designed to run uninterrupted even in the unlikely event of a total power outage. All servers are fed with conditioned UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) power that will run if utility power fails. The UPS power subsystem is N+1 redundant with instantaneous failover in case the primary UPS fails. In the event of an extended power outage, on-site diesel generators can run indefinitely. Generators are regularly tested to ensure functionality in the event of an emergency.

"Meet Me Rooms" and Core Routing Equipment :

We use only fully redundant, enterprise-class routing equipment housed in its own secure, core routing "meet me" rooms that allow multiple telecom providers to extend their services to the data centre space. The routing equipment is fed with its own redundant power supply. Our fibre carriers enter the facilities at disparate access points to ensure that there is no service failure, even in the unlikely event of a fibre cut. We can accommodate customers that require private circuit access to their hosted environment.

Redundant AC Power For Each Cabinet :

Each cabinet in the data centre is configured with dual feed power from separate, redundant, power distribution boards. Resilient in line harmonic filters clean both the incoming and return power feeds to remove electrical current anomalies that can cause unseen damage to electronics. Our servers feature dual power supply capability and are connected to both power feeds for redundancy.
